Welcome to an update for the 2008 Concours - Canberra 10-12th October.  Accommodation will be at Canberra Rex Hotel, 150 Northbourne Avenue, Braddon.   Accomodation and Car registration forms for the Concours are included in the May Issue of the T-Bird News as inserts.  If you need more they are accessible from the TOCA web site.  As you can see the prices are a little higher than Wagga Wagga but that is our Nations Capital, pricey one day, pollies the next.   Features of the weekend include: A trip to Floriade, we will hire a bus, entry to the park is free. The Presentation Dinner will be a Theme Night   for the Ladies - THE ROARING TWENTIES and the Guys - GANGSTERS.   There will be prizes for the best dressed male, female and couple.   Also a price for the best dancers.  It should be a very interesting night. The Concours is being held in the Old Parliament House grounds, so there will be a parade from the Hotel to the grounds. For people wishing to stay extra nights, they will need to show the extra nights on registration form.   There cut of date for registrations requiring extra nights is the 31st of August so make sure you registration forms are inearly.  Anybody wishing to make arrangements after this date must contact the hotel direct and will be the same price as the weekend.
