NSW Branch
From the TV watching chair of Jim Matthews
Hello everyone and welcome to the NSW Directors report.
On the 1st November our good friends at Oz Show Cars invited us to join their display at Homebush for “The Ford Spectacular” and it was a bit of a flop with only about 50 cars total turning up, and while the quality was there they were hopelessly short on cars and the paying public, in fact the girl selling entry tickets went to sleep and no one noticed, I don’t think the promoter will try one of these again.
Our lunch at Mooney Workers had to be relocated to the Berowra Heights Tavern, it was an extremely hot day and a couple of cars played up, the new venue was very good with plenty of good parking available and an excellent menu and good quality food , those that attended had a very good time.
Our Christmas Party was held at Woronora Dam with the club providing all food which was well organized by Pat and Joy Farrell - A big thank you to them both for the time and effort they put in - Thank you also to the many helpers on the day and to you who came along and joined us for what turned out to be a top day.
There are some of our members that we have not seen for a while, either they themselves or family members have been ill or in hospital and there are some who are having a battle with ongoing treatments, we miss you and wish you a speedy recovery.
Happy New Year to Everyone
Jim Matthews
