NSW Branch
From the TV watching chair of Jim Matthews
Hello everyone and welcome to the NSW Directors report.
The all Ford Day was held at Eastern Creek on Sunday 25th July, our cars had a pretty good presentation with nine cars in attendance, although there was a cool breeze blowing the sun shone all day which made for a more enjoyable event, as always the various Ford clubs did themselves proud with their displays and the organization was very good.
Sunday the eighth of August we met at the Liverpool Crossroads Hotel from there we took the Scenic route to the Wallacia Hotel where we had a pre-dinner drink, a little bit of BS and a wonderful lunch, a bit more BS then a nice drive home , a good time was had by all.
The combined Motor Club Display Day was held as always at Eastern Creek on Sunday 22nd August and as always was a great day, we had an excellent roll up with twelve cars in attendance, I'm not sure how many cars turned up but there seems to be more cars every year, I think it's impossible to have a good look at every car so we try to set ourselves up and watch the cars coming in, the organizers tricked us this year by using two entrances, the sun shone all day and those members who attended all had a great day.
James has posted up over 450 images from the Eastern Creek Club Display on his Oz Show Cars website.
He also has images from All Ford Day on the site, Just go to the Image Gallery Page and take it from there.
All the best
Jim Matthews

A reminder that the National Committee has decided to have a
Show n Shine & AGM in stead of having a full Concours in 2010.
The reason is, that at the AGM last year in QLD, no state had developed a proposal for a National Concours in 2010.
Accordingly the National Committee decided that we would hold a Show n Shine on the far south coast of NSW atBatemans PlaceTypeBay.
The last time we spoke with members, they wanted somewhere along the coast. Barry & I went down to Batemans Bay to check things out.
We have decided on Motel style accommodation because it will only be one night. We will be having the Show n Shine on the
Saturday afternoon and dinner in the evening and then AGM on Sunday morning.
The Araluen Motor Lodge is very clean and comfortable and has the facilities to cater for our needs. In the current magazine there will be the
entry forms for you to fill out with the details of the accommodation package which is Dinner Bed & Breakfast at a very reasonable price.
So if everyone could save the 16th October free that is the day we will be meeting at Batemans Bay.
Also there are prices for additional nights if you want to stay longer. Batemans Bay is well known for its fresh seafood and surroundings.
I will be able to give you more information once I know the numbers and the other attractions in the area for people
who would like to stay for more than one night
