Cruizzin the Highways and Byways On the club front we all took a short day run to Marburg, just a short way up the track, just to see what was there.  All we found were three antique shops, absolutely stuffed to the brim with interesting items, so we spent a while looking. The men found an old junk yard just up the street, they walked around, and out the back, but had to settle for drooling over the fence as the place was locked. So we went on to Mt Tarampa hotel for lunch, (Thats all there is in Tarampa) and had excellent food at a really good price.  Late afternoon we leisurely headed homeward, through Lowood and Fernvale. Wishes on Wheels - 19 to 25 October 2008 The Adelaide and Geelong branches of Make-A-Wish® Australia are joining forces to host their inaugural Fundraising 'Wishes on Wheels' car rally next October. You are invited to register your interest in joining a small group of up to 20 vehicles who will meander their way from Adelaide across to Geelong through a mystery 'on-road' route transversing regions such as the Barossa Valley; Adelaide Hills; the SA South East and famous Victorian Great Ocean Road ... finishing up in Geelong a week later. Along the way, Wishes on Wheels will have you involved in a range of fun activities and a scavenger hunt. FUN will definitely be on the cards! Sound like YOUR kind of Holiday? What You Need to Enter To start, it's as easy as having ANY kind of Road Registered Vehicle suitable to get you from Adelaide to Geelong. The registration fee is a low $200 per vehicle with an expectation of raising a minimum of $1,000 per vehicle for Make-A-Wish® Australia before the team departs Adelaide.
